Media Relations – Public Relations – Producer – Broadcaster
Michael L. Miller (born 20 December 1971) is an American communications/PR professional with extensive experience in creating video concepts, video production management, media strategies and media relations.
He started his career as a writer and layout artist at The Kansas City Globe. He later transitioned into radio broadcasting as the on-air talent during afternoon drive at Carter Broadcast Group, Inc. In addition to on-air talent, Michael created and coordinated on-air promotions.
As a communications/PR professional, Michael partners with C-Suite executives and leadership at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles to develop and execute impactful communications strategies that achieve the organization’s philanthropic objectives.
He is the recipient of a 2014 Telly Award.
Michael is currently working on a PhD in Media Psychology at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. His areas of interest include: social cognition, persuasion, emotional intelligence and millennial marketing and trends research. He has a BA in Communications with a minor in Business from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO.
